Relax. Enjoy. And Dream.

I LOVE TO READ
Picture

I read my book
Upon the floor
Squatting deeply in a crouch.

I read aloud
My arms outstretched
While I'm lying on the couch.

I take my book
Along with me
When I go outside to play.

I read it from
The monkey bars
Where I dangle, swing, and sway.

I'll even bring
My book along
To the bathroom while I sit.
Or while I wait
For breakfast
I will try to read a bit.
I read my book
On long car rides
But the motion makes me queezy.

I read all books
Both short or long
Whether if they're hard or easy.

But...
Of all the ways
I like to read
The most special way I've read,
Is snuggling with
Right before I go to bed!
